The Shotgun Pro combo is the ultimate setup for your mountain bike kid. Lightning fast to attach and remove, zero frame contact and adjustable to fit electric & regular mountain bikes.
ABOUT THE SHOTGUN PRO SEAT + PRO HANDLEBARS COMBO
- Designed for children 2 – 5 years (up to 60lb / 27kg).
- Lightning fast to fit, remove and swap between bikes. Zero frame contact. Folds flat for storage.
- Fully adjustable to fit all electric and regular mountain bikes.
- Fully adjustable leg length to grow with your child.
- Fits all mountain bikes with standard 1 1⁄8 steerers (10mm stem clearance required). Adaptors for Trek Knock Block and Scott Syncros headsets sold separately.
- Pro bars fit 31.8mm and 35mm handlebar diameters.
Will the Shotgun Pro seat fit my bike?
- The Shotgun Pro seat fits all modern mountain bikes with a standard 1 1/8 inch steerer, including electric mountain bikes. Before purchasing, check your local laws regarding the use of child seats and e-bikes.
- Fitting requires 10mm of clearance under the stem. Bikes with stems shorter than 50mm in length may require additional clearance under the stem, the minimum clearance required is indicated in the diagram below.
- The Shotgun Pro includes two spacers, for use on two bikes. Installing the Shotgun Pro spacer replaces 10mm of standard steerer spacers on your bike.
- Please note that adaptors for use with Trek Knock Block and Scott Syncros headsets are sold separately. The Shotgun Pro is not compatible with bikes that have a quill stem.
- The Shotgun Pro seat is suitable for dropper posts and all common seat post sizes, including 27.2mm, 30.9mm, 31.6mm and 34.9mm. Fitting requires 14mm of available seat post space.

Much Improved
We had the original shotgun seat for years and loved it. The new Pro version is so much better. I love being able to easily swap it from my wife’s EMTB to my MTB in less than a minute. Because the old one sat on the frame I wouldn’t use it on my nicer bikes and it wouldn’t fit the EMTB. Highly recommend the Pro.

We love it!
Awesome idea, perfectly done. Once you get through the headset setup, it's super-easy to use and the kid just loves to ride on the seat. It also teaches them balance very well.
Seat is very well designed with attention to detail and very sturdy construction.
We will probably never use child back-seat again :)

A thoughtful and beautifully engineered upgrade from the original!
Having put two season of riding in on the Original KRS (which we LOVED), we had a good base of experience to compare the two models. Both install quickly and securely, but the Pro is certainly easier to install, make adjustments, and remove/reinstall. The fit/finish of the product is so high quality and the thoughtful engineering/design makes adjusting a breeze, literally so easy. From opening the package to riding, it must have been less than 15-20 minutes.
From there, the benefits of the Pro shine just like all KRS products which is to say the experience of riding with your little one transcends the bike and the connection you two have together goes far beyond the single experience. Seriously, can’t say enough about this dynamic and the opportunity to bond in the great outdoors.
This is a great product for anyone that wants to avoid contact with their frame, fit for an ebike with a bigger tube set, or simply go for the premium option. We’ve ridden miles of single-track, gravel, and dirt with confidence in the safety/security the Pro provides.
Only downside is my little guy will outgrow it this year :(
