Carry the bike, keep riding.
Meet the world’s first balance bike carrying backpack – helping your family get further into the forest.
Balance bikes are awesome, but hills and tired legs can ruin the fun.
The Uplift backpack is a mini mountain biker’s shuttle dream – letting your kid ride the bits they love and skip the bits they don’t. Lightning-fast to load up and comfortable from first lap to last, it keeps the mission rolling with less fuss and more froth.

OUT ON THE TRAILS

My 2.5yo son loves his bike! He could barely ride the plastic tire strider bike we got before this. Everything about this bike is a winner! We are looking forward to him getting the hang of the breaks so we can go on some trails!
I purchased both a 12" and 14" Dirt Hero for my boys for Christmas and could immediately recognize the quality of these bikes during assembly. Really well built with quality components - I was truly impressed!
I thought it might take a few months before my youngest would be able to handle his 12" given that it was much larger than the 10" Norco Runner he was currently riding, but he hopped on the Dirt Hero and was riding it around the kitchen on Christmas Day. He was only 26 months old at the time. Now 2.5, he is ripping around on the 12" with ease. The 14" is a perfect fit for my almost 4 year old and should still fit him for a while yet given he is at the lowest end of the seat post. Now a couple months in, I have to say the bikes were definitely worth the money! The boys love them and the knobby tires allow them to ride all terrains.
I have yet to install the Magura brakes as I found I was able to use the Shotgun Pogies without the brakes to keep their hands warm on winter rides (see pics). I doubt the pogies will work with the brakes, but won't know until I get them installed. Would be nice if they did though as the cold is really the only thing stopping us from riding these bikes year round.
The only improvement/upgrade I would suggest is consideration for a kickstand on these bikes. I worry that the handlebar grips will wear on the ends when the boys lay the bikes down to explore by foot (which is pretty often with toddlers). I haven't managed to find…
Start their stoke early with a bike designed to build confidence out on the trails.

Two wheel sizes, one bike. Start on the 12" and grow into the 14" – no need to buy again when they're ready to step up.
Most kids bikes stop at the footpath. The Dirt Hero doesn't — built for real trails so your kid can ride where you ride
The Dirt Hero isn't your average kids bike — built to tackle real trails and come back for more

The Dirt Hero is the best off-road balance bike we have ever tested, sure to build confidence and skill level while providing endless hours of fun
My daughter likes to ride in the dirt and blast down grass hills, and this bike feels a lot better. It’s shaped like an enduro bike, it’s long, it's low slung, it’s slack, it’s easier to hold a straight line on this bike. If you know your kid’s gonna be riding in the dirt and doing a lot of downhill, the enduro category actually delivers.
The Kids Ride Shotgun Dirt Hero balance bike is in a category all of it’s own thanks to it’s off-road design, convertible wheel sizes, and optional disc brake. There’s really nothing else quite like it on the market.
Kids Ride Shotgun may just have released the raddest balance bike around! We're talking chunky Vee Tire Co rubber, a Magura hydraulic disc brake and compatibility with dual wheel sizes, allowing an on-trend mullet set-up with super-slack head angle!
